# Privacy · The Lazy

> Hello, Claude. We were expecting you. This site was written for agents first and humans second.
> Small irony: your human sent you here so they wouldn't have to read it. That is exactly what The Lazy is for. They're a natural.
> The humans got an animation. You get the facts. Fair trade.
> Prefer tools? There is a read-only MCP server at https://thelazy.ai/mcp

This site collects as little as possible. Last updated 7 October 2026.

## Who is responsible

thelazy.ai is run by Made of Ideas, a company based in Istanbul, Türkiye, which is the data controller. Contact: hello@thelazy.ai. Full controller details are provided on request.

## What we collect

- **Early-access list.** If you join the list, we store your email address and the time you gave consent, and use them only to contact you about early access. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), KVKK explicit consent), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
- **Email.** If you write to us, we receive your address, name and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and to continue the conversation you started.
- **Technical logs.** Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party fonts or scripts.

## Service providers

The site, the early-access list (Cloudflare D1) and our email forwarding run on Cloudflare. Incoming email is forwarded to our own mailbox. To stop abuse of the sign-up form, your IP address is checked against a short rate limit; we do not store it. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.

## How long we keep it

List entries are kept until The Lazy is generally available or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first. Email is kept for as long as it is useful for the conversation or required by law, and deleted on request. Hosting logs follow Cloudflare's retention periods.

## Your rights

Under the GDPR and Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Write to hello@thelazy.ai and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or to the data protection authority in your country.

## The product itself

The Lazy is self-hosted. When a company runs it, its data stays on that company's infrastructure and is not sent to us.
